The closest airport to Bright is Albury NSW. Albury is about a 1 hour drive from Bright. There are no regular buses or trains that operate between Albury and Bright. If you do need to travel via plane then to hire a car from Albury airport to drive to Bright would be the best option.
During the Winter snow season, there is an operational airport at Dinner Plain. Dinner Plain is about 1.5 - 2 hours drive from Bright but can also be much slower depending on the snow conditions. There is a bus that departs from Mt Hotham travelling down to Bright which would also involve getting a shuttle bus to Mt hotham from Dinner Plain (about half hour drive). The bus service to Bright is operated by Snowball Express and we can book these tickets for you.
