Please ensure you take adequate breaks on your trip to Bright. If you are travelling from Melbourne, there are roadside stops on the Hume Highway as well as road houses on the highway at Seymour, Avenel and Glenrowan.
During the Winter season, sections of the road may be icy once you turn off the Hume Highway. Please drive carefully.
Winter Driving Hazards
Please remember that you need to hire chains for your car if you are travelling to any of the Snow resorts during the Winter season. It is the law to carry them during the Snow season even if you aren't required to fit them. Snow chains can be hired from a number of shops and service stations in Bright.
